Minnehaha Musicians Invited to Perform in Honor Band

Four Minnehaha Academy students were invited to perform in the University of Minnesota's Honor Band.

Congratulations to Minnehaha musicians Nils Andreasen, Greta Hallberg, Olivia Lutter and Adam Schaus. These students have been invited to perform on Sunday, January 22nd, at the 23rd Annual University of Minnesota High School Honor Band

Students (from left to right) are Olivia Lutter, Adam Schaus, Nils Andreasen and Greta Hallberg auditioned for and were invited to participate in the 2017 University of Minnesota's Honor Band. 

The Minnehaha students will join 96 students from 43 high schools in the upper Midwest to perform challenging wind music. 

The concert is free and open to the public. It begins at 1:30 p.m. in Ted Mann Concert Hall. Emily Threinen, Jerry Luckhardt, and Laura Sindberg will be the conductors. A live stream of the concert is available at z.umn.edu/musicstream
