Students Find Joy In Serving Others

"Every year, students in Minnehaha Academy's Middle School are joined by their teachers and parent volunteers to head out into our school, neighborhood and community to serve," said Middle School Teacher Ms. Firkus. "Our prayer each year is that students learn in their innermost being what it is to be a servant, like Jesus, and work to be like Him. Serve-It Day is a core part of our Middle School experience as it gives students the opportunity to put our values - as Minnehaha students, Christians, and community members - into practice."
