It was an evening of happy faces, hugs and handshakes at the Honors Program for the Minnehaha Class of 2016.
Concordia Latin Days includes two days of fun and competition for middle and high school Latin students at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Students test their Latin skills through the Colosseum Bowl (where teams of students answer oral questions covering grammar, vocabulary, Roman life, history and mythology) and a written academic competition, covering multiple Latin topics. The Latin Days finale is a Roman-style toga banquet where competition winners are announced and prizes are awarded.

The English Department honored three students of the junior class today who have shown grit (perseverance and passion), have pursued excellence, rejoiced in discovery and demonstrated a spirit of cooperation.
Congratulations to seniors Samuel Myers, Tori Roloff, Tyler Radtke and Sam Carlen, who were finalists in the 28th Annual Student Essay Contest sponsored by The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
Congratulations to the MA Math Team, whose scores throughout the season qualified them to participate in the State Math Meet on March 14.
